Plant for pollinators tree pack
Grow the perfect habitat for pollinators. This pack includes tree species that flower in different seasons, providing nectar, pollen and nesting sites for pollinators all year round.

Included in this pack are 210 cell grown saplings: 30 Hazel, 40 Hawthorn, 30 Crab Apple, 30 Rowan, 30 Blackthorn, 20 Dog Rose, 30 Goat Willow, which are all suited to growing on large plots of land.
- Hazel trees grow yellow male catkins and small bud-like female flowers.
- Hawthorn produces white flowers that appear from around April to June.
- Crab apple trees grow sweetly scented blossoms in April and May.
- Rowan has silvery-brown bark and fern-like leaves which turn a lovely burnt red in autumn.
- Blackthorn produces creamy-coloured flowers and blossoms around March.
- Dog rose has large pink or white flowers that blossom from May to August.
- Goat willow trees produce soft catkins in April and May.
The saplings are approximately 20-60cm in height (depending upon species) and should be planted 2.5 metres apart. Wherever possible, we try to match the tree provenance to your location.
Tree protection options:
You can choose whether you want to purchase tree protection alongside your saplings or not. Please consider whether your saplings need protection, particularly from browsing mammals.
- No tree protection – your order will contain saplings, but no tree protection. We would suggest this option if your saplings are unlikely to be affected by browsing mammals of any size, or if you have plans for alternative tree protection e.g., browsing reduction, fencing.
- Easywrap and canes – your order will contain saplings as well as easywrap and canes. This option will help to provide protection from small mammals e.g. voles.
- Tubes and stakes - your order will contain saplings as well as tubes and stakes. This option will help to provide protection from small and large browsing mammals.
Estimated full-grown height:
Blackthorn: 4m, Crab Apple: 10m, Goat Willow: 15m, Dog rose: 1.5m, Hawthorn: 10m, Hazel: 8m, and Wild cherry: 25m.
Purchase size and growth:
These trees are cell-grown saplings, ranging from approximately 20-50cm in height. Cell grown trees can be planted all year round in most situations as long as they are given the correct care. Please be aware that depending upon the time of year you receive your sapling (particularly early spring) it may not look very perky upon arrival, please do not worry once it has been planted it should pick up quickly.
UK and Ireland Sourced and Grown (UKISG):
Every sapling that we provide is UK and Ireland sourced and grown to minimise the risk of importing and spreading tree pests and diseases. Seeds are collected and stored in the UK and Ireland, and they are all coded and batched so that we can track each individual tree.

The images in this product listing show the saplings bundled and wrapped. This plastic wrap is made from LDPE (low-density polyethylene) and is 100% recyclable, we encourage users to recycle them when you are ready to plant your trees.
