A grab bag of native wildflower seeds.

  • Includes common poppy, wild carrot, corn marigold, red clover, greater knapweed, sheep sorrel, yellow rattle, birdsfoot trefoil, tufted vetch and self heal.
  • A carefully selected mix designed specifically to support garden wildlife, including bees, butterflies, birds, beetles, hedgehogs and bats. 
  • Every bag contains 100 seedballs, each filled with around 30 wildflower seeds.
  • Each seedball has a clay coating and a hint of chilli to deter insects.
  • Scatter in spring or autumn.
  • Sprout in four to six weeks.
  • Can be planted in both urban and rural areas.
  • One tube will cover five square metres in a garden bed, or 15 to 25 medium-sized pots (leave at least 10cm between each ball).
  • Bags are plastic free and can be composted.

Common poppy (Papaver rhoeas)
A bright red flowering annual. 
Height: 30-60cm.
Flowers: May to July

Wild carrot (Daucus carota)
Biennial (sometimes annual).
Height: 30-70cm
Flowers: June to August

Corn marigold (Glebionis Segetum)
A medium height annual plant, its flowers are golden-yellow discs with prominent ray florets.
Height: 51-60cm
Scatter: late summer to mid April, but the best results are usually obtained in early spring
Flowers: June to October

Red clover (Trifolium pratense)
Perennial with trefoil leaves and pinky red flowers. Good weed suppressor.
Height: 10-45cm

Greater knapweed (Centaurea scabiosa)
Perennial.
Height: 30-100cm
Flowers: July to September

Sheep sorrel (Rumex acetosella)
Perennial.
Height: 10-40cm
