To help prevent the spread of the tree disease Chalara ash dieback we have removed ash from our tree shop.
Chalara ash dieback is a disease caused by the Hymenoscyphus fraxineus fungus (previously Chalara fraxinea). There is a complete ban on ash tree imports and the movement of ash trees within the UK to help to reduce the spread of the disease and we have therefore removed ash from sale.
