This carefully selected seed mix is designed to attract honey bees, bumblebees and solitary bees (such as mason bees and mining bees), helping to support the biodiversity and ecosystem of your garden.

Each bag contains 100 seedballs filled with approximately 30 wildflower seeds including Birdsfoot Trefoil, Foxglove, Red Clover, Viper’s Bugloss and Wild Marjoram. Clay coating protects the seeds while a hint of chilli deters insects. Scatter in spring or autumn and watch them sprout in 4-6 weeks with sun and rain. These hardy seeds thrive in rural and urban areas. A beautiful, eco-friendly way to attract bees and brighten up your outdoor space!

One bag of seed bombs will cover 5 square metres in a garden bed or 15-25 medium sized pots (leave at least 10cm between each ball).

Bags are plastic free and can be home composted.

Please note: foxglove is a poisonous species and should not be ingested.

Birdsfoot trefoil (Lotus corniculatus)
A perennial with clusters of yellow/orange pea like leaves.
Height: 15-25cm
Flowers: May to October

Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea)
A tall biennial (flowering stem grows in the second year) with pink and purple flowers on spikes.
Height: 60-150cm
Flowers: June to September
Toxicity: Poisonous if eaten

Red clover (Trifolium pratense)
Perennial with trefoil leaves and pinky red flowers. Good weed suppressor.
Height: 10-45cm
Flowers: May to September

Viper's Bugloss (Echium vulgare)
A tall biennial (flowering stem grows in the second year) with incredibly blue flowers emerging from pink buds.
Height: 30-90cm
Flowers: June to September

Wild Marjoram (Origanum vulgare)
Aromatic perennial with dark purple buds and pinkish purple flowers.
Height: 30-60cm
Flowers: April to November

Please note, warm sun and water are required for sprouts to form. November scattered seed balls are unlikely to sprout until the spring.
