Return a loved one to nature with an exclusive, eco-friendly Woodland Trust Limbo Geos urn. These handcrafted biodegradable urns for the burial of ashes are made from binding organic plant substrate, fibre, golden sand and plant extracts. The lid can be removed and a seed or sapling of your choice can be planted to create new life in the form of a memorial tree.

The volume of the large urn is 3.4 L and is suitable for a larger amount of ashes, for example adults and large pets. Each urn measures 22 cm (8.5 in) in diameter and weighs 3.52 kg
We recommend a funeral professional helps with the interment of the ashes, but a full instruction guide is included with each urn for your reference

To use the Geos urn take out the water soluble bag from the urn
Cut the strap, keeping it to close the bag
Place the open bag inside the urn and place the ashes inside
Close the bag by tying the strap around the top
Place some fertile soil and the root system of the sapling inside the top of the urn
Place the urn into the ground and cover with soil and water. Regular care is needed to nurture the tree
In cases where you have a larger set of ash, simply fill the entire urn and discard the lid. Place the root system over the top of the urn, and cover completely with soil
This urn can also be buried alongside an existing tree to aid its continual growth.
